Judoclub Riestedt e.V. was founded in 1960 and has represented community, respect, and a passion for martial arts ever since. Our club motto is: “More than just a team.” We are proud to offer a welcoming and family-like environment where beginners, hobby practitioners, and competitive athletes all feel at home.
Our club offers several martial arts disciplines, including Judo, Ju-Jutsu, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both Gi and No-Gi formats. We combine recreational training with competitive ambitions and support both personal growth and athletic development.
Our current BJJ training schedule is:
– BJJ Gi: Tuesdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
– BJJ No-Gi: Fridays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Although we are a small club from a rural area of Germany, our members regularly compete at regional championships and have achieved success at both state and Northern German level competitions. Beyond competition, we are also involved in self-defence programs and community projects that promote respect, confidence, and inclusion.
