About Our Gym:

Vértice is an independent, community-driven martial arts school located in Contagem, Minas Gerais. Founded on the core principles of mechanical efficiency, structural leverage, and mutual respect, our mat is an open space for anyone dedicated to the art of grappling—whether in the Gi, No-Gi, or traditional Brazilian Luta Livre.

We don't believe in gym politics or team borders. Our philosophy bridges the strategic positional control of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the aggressive, fluid transitions and submission-first mindset of Luta Livre Esportiva and Catch Wrestling.

What to Expect:

Technical & No-Nonsense Instruction: Classes focus on biomechanics, breaking alignment, and understanding why techniques work, not just memorizing steps.

Warm & Welcoming Atmosphere: Whether you are a traveling white belt passing through Minas Gerais or a seasoned black belt looking for hard, technical rounds, you will find a respectful, ego-free environment.
