Latest updates on the camp

  • [10/10] All systems go, looking forward to seeing you all in Poland in a few days. Remember to send us your C-19 test result by email and await our confirmation before you show up at camp!
  • [29/9] Camp is two weeks away! I’m so excited that one more camp is possible during this weird, weird year.
This is also the time where it would be a good idea to consider very carefully what you do in the next two weeks. If you should get infected with the virus, your holiday is cancelled! So it’s maybe not the best time to go to the bar all night, hang around large crowds etc. Also now you should start to plan how you will get the test before the camp. A few people have been confused about this, so I’ll just confirm again that you have to take care of that yourself from home. There will be no testing at camp, it would not make sense for us
  • [24/9] 90% of tickets are now booked
  • [7/9] 80% of tickets booked, so it looks like we’ll have a great camp!
  • [2/9] Message from Dojo Stara Wies management: “To give your group maximum protection and avoid contact with potential high-risk visitors Dojo Stara Wieś will be closed during your camp (tourist won’t be able to enter Dojo Stara Wieś). Our all employees wear a visor, gloves and are required to comply with the sanitary regime. Our facilities are equipped with specialized disinfecting liquids. Our government’s requirements are met in this respect. Cleaning stuff will enter the house when it’s empty. We will ask you to tell us exact time when they can enter- for example during the training (they will clean bathrooms, kitchen and living room; they don’t enter the bedrooms).”
  • [31/8] Despite a bunch of refunds and cancellations, we’re still 70% booked for this camp! 🙂  After Iceland and Austria camps safely pulled off this summer, I am super confident and excited about this one, faaaar out in the countryside where we can forget about the world for some days ❤️
  • [28/8] We are excited to be going back to Poland soon and we will start to regularly check in with you with any updates on the camp. Here are a few quick things we wanted to let you know at this point:
    • The camp is fully planned to go ahead. Borders are open within the European Union, sports is allowed and we will be as isolated as it gets for this camp.
    • The facilities passed a recent inspection by the Polish Sanitary Inspectorate and was ranked the best adapted center for safe tourism in the region.
    • A recent negative C-19 test will be required for checking in at camp (administered approx. 72 hours before arrival). We did this as a test for the Austria camp last week and it worked incredibly well, more than 80 people tested in their home countries without issues. You can read more about this here.
In case you already know that you can not make it to the camp, please let us know asap so we don’t produce/ship your gis there and block the spot for someone else.
If you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to reach out at any time!
